Channel Island Children’s Book Award (CICBA)
This year, in association with Jersey Library, SLS are excited to announce the launch of the brand new Channel Island Children’s Book Award. The award is aimed at children in years 5-7 (ages 9-12) within the Bailiwicks of Guernsey and Jersey, and is purely based on nominations from the children themselves. For further information (incl. timeline and nomination criteria), please check out the website.
Wednesday 29th November 2018 at the Guille-Allès Library
During the Autumn term, SLS like to focus on the enjoyment of all things non-fiction. SLS Librarians will run groups with students to discuss the annual SLA Information Book shortlist. These groups will then be invited to attend our event to discuss the books and finally reveal the highly anticipated winner.
