Bob Graham fans won’t be disappointed with his latest picture book. The gentle, lyrical story tracks the suns movement across the earth, capturing the diversity and beauty of our planet. In these turbulent times, adults will appreciate these moments of peace and hope. The simple, muted colour palette and absence of humour & excitement mean that it’s unlikely to be a crowd pleaser. However, it’s perfect for parents to read to their own children, particularly at bedtime. It’s a great way to introduce the concept of time, day & night and key geographical landmarks around the world. How the Sun Got to Coco’s House made me want to take a deep breath of fresh air and feel the winter sun on my face. A lovely book.
